The Slievecallan windfarm is located on Slievecallan between the parishes of Inagh and Miltown Malbay in County Clare, Ireland. The windfarm is referred to as Knockalassa in Eirgrid's list of windfarms. It was developed by the company CCWFL Ltd with the initial planning application being made in 2015. Despite an objection from An Taisce, and other members of the local community, planning permission was granted and the Slievecallan windfarm was commissioned in 2018. As part of the planning application, developers committed to providing to the communities of Miltown Malbay, Kilmurry Ibrickane, Kilmaley and Inagh The planning permission allowed for a 27.5 MW windfarm consisting of 11 wind-turbines. In 2020 the owners, WCRE Windfarms Ltd and Brookfield Renewable Partners, sold the windfarm to Japan's Mitsubishi UFJ Lease & Finance Co and Arjun Alliance UK 2 LP.
