The Skooners

The Skooners are a garage/indie/alternative blues-rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada. Formed in 2004 and made up of brothers Blair (vocals) and Ian (guitar) Dewane, Anthony Fitzgerald (bass guitar) and Jake Farmer (drums), they released their debut album, Shut Down Shop, on April 7, 2007.

On February 16th, 2007 at The Rainbow Bar & Grill in Las Vegas, The Skooners went on to win the "Rock The Rainbow" local band competition, finishing for a crowd of 1300 people. They received a professional recording session at Studio At The Palms (located at The Palms Hotel and Casino), a showcase for Sony A&R representatives and a Saturday night spotlight gig (May 19, 2007) at the famous Whiskey A Go Go in Los Angeles, CA.

They have attracted crowds and a devoted fanbase to their countless shows.
