The Silence of the Clamps

"The Silence of the Clamps" is the fourteenth episode of the sixth season of animated sitcom Futurama, and is the 102nd episode of the series in production order and broadcast order. Episode writer Eric Rogers has stated that the episode will air on July 21, 2011. A preview clip of the episode appears as a bonus feature on the Futurama volume 5 DVD as an "Exclusive Season 7 Sneak Peek". A frame at the end reads "Brand New Futurama...Coming June 2011", hinting that it is around this time that broadcast season seven of Futurama will start. Plot Bender witnesses a crime committed by the Robot Mafia and goes into witness protection. According to Futurama voice actor Maurice LaMarche, the episode will feature a storyline featuring much attention on Clamps, a member of the Robot Mafia who first appeared in the season two episode "Bender Gets Made".
