The Reason 4

The Reason 4 are a British pop group who found fame on the 2010 X Factor contest. Consisting of friends Glenn Vine, Marc Higgins, Nathan Rawlings and Scott White, The Reason 4 (previously called The Reason) attended the London audition and passed the first round receiving positive feedback from all three judges present as Dannii Minogue was absent for the episode. Encouraged by strong cheers and a generous following on YouTube receiving over a million views of the audition The Reason 4 made it through to the Judge's Houses round where they were unfortunately eliminated to the likes of One Direction, Belle Amie, Diva Fever and FYD.
History
Originally friends for 13 years Scott & Nathan met first eventually meeting Marc & Glenn in the following years.
The Reason 4 emerged as the group popularly known as the four builders who covered Cheryl Cole's "Fight For This Love" in their audition. After appearing on The X Factor as The Reason, they were contacted shortly after their elimination by the management of a canadian band also called The Reason. Forced to change their name they settled with "The Reason 4" to reflect the four members of the group. In late 2010 they were signed to Upside Management. In early 2011 they were signed to independant label Far West Records where they spent Spring 2011 recording their debut album "Crying Out Loud" alongside Gary Barlow's writing partner Eliot Kennedy. Their debut single "Take It All" was released on August 7th after gaining over 90,000 views on YouTube prior to it's release.
