The Other Queen is the latest in the Boleyn series of books written by popular historical fiction writer Philippa Gregory, author of The Other Boleyn Girl. It centres around the frequently forgotten life of Elizabeth I's great rival Mary, Queen of Scots, daughter of King James I of Scotland and Lady Margaret Tudor, sister of King Henry VIII of England.
