The Nuttery Entertainment

The Nuttery Entertainment, headquartered in Karlstad, Sweden, is an Swedish independent studio and company, focusing on creating and producing intellectual properties in animation and gaming entertainment, usually for older demographics. The studio is currently in development on Galaga Chronicles, an animated series based on Bandai Namco Entertainment's classic arcade game Galaga, and Whiskey & Zombies, a top-down, four-person local multiplayer game.
Founding
The company is a limited liability company and was incorporated in Sweden on June 30th, 2016 as Nuttery Entertainment AB. The company was founded by Magnus Jansson and Erik Öhrner after leaving their previous company Assorted Nuts Animation Studio, which both men also founded and ran together for 14 years.

Locations
The main headquarters of The Nuttery Entertainment is located in Karlstad. The studio also has offices in Stockholm and in Los Angeles.
Projects
Galaga Chronicles
The Nuttery Entertainment is developing an animated series and other extensions of the 35-year-old Galaga brand owned by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Also on board the project is screenwriter and producer Roberto Orci, Meow Wolf and ShadowMachine.
Whiskey & Zombies
Whiskey & Zombies is a four-person, local multiplayer co-op game for PC and console. It is currently in development by The Nuttery Entertainment.
Awards
At the 2nd Annual Streamy Awards on Sunday, April 11, 2010, at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, California, Magnus Jansson was awarded the Streamy Award for 'Best Animation in a Web-Series' by the International Academy of Web Television for the online series The Goob after the animated series first became a successful mobile download in 2008, achieving over five million mobile downloads in its first year.
In 2003, Erik Öhrner and Magnus Jansson and the Assorted Nuts Animation Studios team received the Swedish ’Filmstjärnan’ award for significant contributions to the film industry in Värmland.
