The Natural Sapphire Company is a mining and manufacturing gemstone wholesaler specializing in natural untreated sapphires. The company was formed in 1939 by Walter Arnstein and is now a third generation run family business. The company supplies sapphires to retailers, jewelry manufacturers and private clientele. Since 1999 the online trade of gemstones has grown and the company has become a popular consumer information website. They also have the largest collection of natural, untreated loose sapphires in the world.
The company is the first sapphire company to use Sarin 3D laser hardware for imaging and engraving their sapphires.
The company has become internationally known for selling a replica of Princess Diana's/Kate Middleton's sapphire engagement ring, including a 69ct, $1.5 million version.
