The Narrative Method is a non-profit organization founded by therapist Shari Foos. The Narrative Methods stated goal is to "peel away participants' negative or false beliefs imposed by cultural and social influences to help them rebuild their understanding of themselves and the world." The organization's method is inspired by research in the field of Narrative Medicine and its services are offered free of charge to public. The Narrative Method has been taught as a course at Antioch University Los Angeles as a continuing education program for the LA Unified School District.
To fund its free services, The Narrative Method sells TNM: DIY Human products and offers paid services to universities and businesses.
