The Lobster is an upcoming romantic science fiction thriller film directed by Greek director Yorgos Lanthimos. It was awarded the ARTE International Prize, at the 42nd Rotterdam International Film Festival for the Best CineMart 2013 Project. Set in a dystopian future, the film tells an atypical love story where finding a partner is a matter of life and death. The film stars Colin Farrell, Rachel Weisz, Ben Whishaw and Léa Seydoux.
