The Last Daughter of Gallifrey

The Last Daughter of Gallifrey, or "the little girl", is a fictional character in the long running brithish sci-fi, Doctor Who. She is the only known child Time Lord and one of the only two known living Time Lords (three if Jenny, a clone of the Doctor is counted). She is recognised as a Time Lord primarily because of the fact that she is able to regenerate. Her true name is unknown but the name 'last daughter of Gallifrey' was coined among fans as the Doctor is also called the 'last child of gallifrey' by the daleks.
Appearance
The little girl has only appeared for brief amounts of time in the first two episode of series 6, "The Impossible Astronaut", where she only appears in an Apollo 11 like life support suit, and "Day of the Moon", where she is shown in and out of the suit. She is depicted to live in an abandoned orphanage along with come creaures named only as 'the silent' and a man with frequent short term memory loss due to constant memory wipes. While in what seems to be the little girl's room, Amy finds pictures of herself as a child on a chest of drawers. While investigating the girl, while still in the astronaut suit, walks in and frightens Amy, mainly because of her witnessing the Doctor being killed by another person or the girl in the same suit. After the Doctor and Canton arrive to assist Amy a sho depicts the girl, without the suit on, sitting in a door frame down the hall, hiding. At the end of the episode "Day of the Moon" it is revealed that the girl has the ability to regenerate and is considered a Time Lord, albeit unknown whether this is true or not. Revealed to be the one the only River Song during Series 6 mid season finale.
