The Imperial-Federalist party of America

The Imperial-Federalist Party of America is a political party to reform the United States government.
Voting
Voting is done by the collective public, followed by a vote by the representatives of the Ministry, who act on that vote, and not on their own basis, as opposed to the current congressional system, where representitives do not necessarily follow the public. Each state can elect one representative, and ratifying an act or bill requires the majority rule.
Representation
The government is almost completely state-run under this Imperial-Federalist party. people vote one representative per state into a Unicameral house to make issues, laws, and taxes ratified. The representatives do not vote mostly independently from public opinion, as aforementioned. Representatives under the IFP (imperial-federalist party) cast their state vote on various issues based solely and directly on the popular vote of citizens. The main purpose of the representatives is to check and balance the Union President, and to cast forth the vote of the people. If the public are unsatisfied with a representative’s service, the public can enact a vote to impeach and remove the representatives swiftly, if the majority of the population votes to do so. See the clause on impeachment for more on this.
President
As aforementioned, the President of the Union is checked and balanced by the Ministry (the collective assembly of state representatives). The President is relativiely the same under the IFP; The Union President can propose taxes, bills and acts. The people vote on the act or bill, and if popular vote to enact is received, then the bill is enacted by the Ministry. The Union President also serves as Commander-in-Chief to the armed forces.
Judiciary Assembly
The Judiciary Assembly also checks and balances the 2 other government bodies, while also serving as the Federal Ministry of Justice, which equivalents the current Supreme Court. The Federal Ministry of Justice acts the same as the Supreme Court, interpreting the constitution to keep the laws of the lands. There are 5 Federal Ministry Justices; they are appointed by the Ministry. If the people are unsatisfied by the Justices, then they can vote to remove them. See the clause for impeachment for this process.
Impeachment
To impeach any political leader, such as state representatives, the Union President, or jutices, a person who wants to do so must start a petition. If the petition is strong enough, a vote is put up for the removal of that politician, by the people. If a state representative is put up for impeachment, it is a statewide vote. If it is a vote for the removal of a justice or the president, then it is nation wide vote. A majority rule in the Ministry, by the representatives, is required. A new justice is then appointed. The public can suggest to the Ministry who to appoint for the Judiciary Assembly. If the President is removed, the Vice president takes over, and then the Secretary of War.
Presidential Elections
The President can serve a two year term. There are no term limits. The public votes for a president. The IFP is a non-partisan system, so no political parties exist within elections. There are merely a collection of 2-5 candidates based on public support and nomination. The candidates have 5 months to campaign. They are then voted for by the representatives, solely based on the people’s vote. It takes a majority of more than 50 percent of the states to elect a president. If the president is impeached, the Vice president takes over. If he is also impeached within the same two year term, the Secretary of War is in charge until the next election. If he is also impeached, an emergency election is enacted. The new candidates, again nominated by popular support, have 2 months to campaign, and then the same voting process aforementioned is used. This system of successions also applies to assassinations or deaths. The Vice President runs separately from the president, rather than the current system of running pairs.
Policies
The US, under the Imperial-Federalist party of America will operate under an expansionist and aggressive policy of imperialism. The Imperial-Federalist party supports Gaullism. Under Gaullism, the idea of having colonies and supporting them is a large part.
Small business is favored under the IFP, however larger business, such as limited liability corporations and corporations are able to operate. The same corporate charter system for forming a corporation will be kept. Production of goods will be transitioned into more domestically produced items. The import rate will be reduced as much as possible. This will be a crucial step in having a strong economy to support a large military and keep the standard of living high. Tariffs and subsidies will be used to encourage domestically made products, and taxes to discourage ones imported from other countries. Domestic Oil will be utilized and drilled under safe regulations to prevent environmental harm. The government can coin money (as it can in the current constitution), and will keep the Dollar as the common unit of currency.
