The Great Office War is an online video produced by Runaway Box and originally uploaded on YouTube on June 16, 2008. The short was written and directed by Woody Tondorf, originally made as part of HBO's new media initiative, HBO Labs. As of January 2019, the video has been viewed over 11,222,000 times. In 2009, Funny or Die, in cooperation with Hasbro, produced an official series of comedy sketches titled Nerf on the Job. While not related to this video, the sketches use the same premise of using Nerf blasters in an office environment.
