The Frozen Show is a weekly video podcast hosted by Brian Self and Andrew Taylor. It discusses Canadian technology based news articles or other pieces of world news from a viewpoint of Canadian geeks. It originates from Saskatoon. Cast *Brian Self Is a professor of web design at McKay and the CEO of Self Reflexion. *Andrew Taylor Is currently an undergraduate engineering student at the University of Saskatchewan. Distribution The Frozen Show episodes are released every Monday morning at 1am (CST). The Frozen Show occasionally shoots live shows or on location. These shows have been at Barcamp and later in 2009 they will be at the Video Games Live pre-show festival, live shows at local Saskatoon bars and other tech conferences . Name Origin The name is a tribute to Saskatoon's incredibly cold winters, -50°C (-58°F) being the lowest recorded Notability The Frozen Show is Canada's first online technology talk show and has been covered on the radio, NewsTalk 650 NTR File:Frozenradio.ogg and on several other blogs. The podcast showcases the local tech industry in Saskatoon which includes the Canadian Light Source, which is the largest scientific project completed in Canada in over 50 years.
