The First Empire, is a five-book fantasy series created by Michael J. Sullivan and published by Random House's imprint Del Rey Books. The audio book will be simultaneously released by Recorded Books Geography The series takes place in a secondary world known as Elan in the distant past of the world as described in the Riyria Revelation's Book. At this point in history the world is dominated by the Fhrey who allow the lesser technological race of Rhune only a small geographic area. Related Books While this series is standalone, and can be read with no prior knowledge of other books, it does explore the "true" history of Elan, as certain points in The Riyria Revelations series have been less than accurate as the deeds of the true heroes of that time were lost over the centuries. |
