The Doomsday Dust is the fourth book in the Spy Gear Adventures series. Plot summary The story is centered around nanites, microscopic robots. In the story, Viper, the nemesis of Team SpyGear, creates a learning swarm of nano-bots which can take on different forms (a man, birds, squirrels, and a dog). They can resist different elements, such as wind, but are susceptible to loud noises, germs and and anything that is outside the swarm's understanding. Team SpyGear defeat the swarm by throwing snow at it, which apparently confuses the nano-bots. The Slorg, a creature created by viper in book 2#, "The Massively Multi-Player Mystery", also helps to defeat the swarm of nanites. |
