The Deniable Agent: Undercover in Afghanistan is a non-fiction book written by Colin Berry. The book follows the story of Colin Berry: A former SAS soldier with the British Special forces who was recruited by a cell in MI6 to go on a series of undercover missions in Afgahnastan, shortly after the fall of the Taliban. Colin's primary mission was to assist the intelligence cells which were locating and buying back advanced weapons systems which had been sold to the Mujahideen during the soviet occupation. The book is largely biographical and provides an interesting insight into the world of covert intelligence and the American tactics in one of the most complex military engagements of recent years.
