The Day Hollywood Died is a 2012 action film directed by Ronnie S. Riskalla and produced by Sam Kanj of Rising Pictures, a feature film production and distribution company based in Sydney Australia. The Film stars Drew Pearson, Tommy Bradson, Amy McWatters, Nenif David, Benjamin Barrymore Hanly, and Eric Rizk. The film was shot for $5,000 in suburban Sydney. The story takes place in Hollywood. The Day Hollywood Died is about a man who wakes up from a catatonic state, and the journey he takes to recall memories of what happened in a quest to work out who he is. Selected for the European Independent Film Festival 2012. It was written by K.G. Donovan. The narrative features the voice of Robyn Queree and features an orchestral score from Henrique Dib, known for Still Waters. Reception The movie was reviewed at its premier by Jonar Nader for his blog Observations from the Frontline, who called it "Breathless. Stunning. Clever. Dangerous."
