"The Brotherhood Letter" was a letter published by the Jordanian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood in 1993. The letter criticized Yasser Arafat for starting to negotiate with Israel. Possession of "The Brotherhood Letter" was one of the justifications offered for the continued extrajudicial detention of Guantanamo captive Adel Hassan Hamad. Guantanamo intelligence analysts informed his Administrative Review Board that the letter was published by the Muslim Brotherhood. The allegation stated this letter was written on September 25, 2001, and published by the Muslim Brotherhood Information Center.
