The Breathing Dead ISBN: 978-1-4092-4557-5 is an English language book written by A M Esmonde, the First Edition went on sale the 11 November 2008. The tale of horror and adventure, The Breathing Dead, follows the main characters of Karen, Jane, Sam and House fighting for survial in a zombie infested world based in the fictional town of Farmore. The book has a bleak but hopeful atmosphere in a world where death and danger lurk at every turn. The book which is dedicated to George A Romero contains a warning that the subject matter may be unsuitable for younger readers. The Breathing Dead is in the same thread as the films Night of the Living dead,Dawn of the dead, Day of the dead, Land of the dead and Diary of the Dead. It is unknown if this book is linked to up and coming zombie film ...of the Dead. A M Esmonde was born in 1977, the year Elvis Presley died, Star Wars was released and Fluke was published. He is an avid fan of all genres of film, books, music and art alike and lives in the Uk, Wales with his family and best friend Ernie from Sesame street. The Breathing Dead is his first adventure horror, young adult book to be published. Aaron appeared in stage productions of Oliver and Ernie's Incredible Illucinations playing The Artful Dodger and Kid Saracen respectively. The character of 'Karen' in the breathing dead is clearly a mixture of Angelina Jolie and the singer actress Grace Jones
