left The Borneo Band of Durham Army Cadet Force is a Cadet-Youth Band. The band was formed in 1996, by the amalgimation of a Corps. a Drums and Bugles in Chester-le-Street detachment and a small band from Borneo Detachment based in Londonderry hall, South Shields. The Band took the name "The Borneo Band and Bugles of Durham Army Cadet Force" it first Diector of Music was Lt. Gerry Christie in 2006 Captain It is a Voluntary Organisation sponsored by the Ministry of Defence and the Army. Recruitment The Band is open to youngsters between the ages of 12 and 18. All are welcome on all musical instruments. If you do not play a musical instrument but want to learn, we can do that as well. The Band parades Wednesday Nights between 19:00hrs and 21:00hrs at the following location: Chester-le-Street TA Centre Picktree Road Chester-le-Street County Durham right left See Also
