The Blizzard PPC

The Blizzard PPC is an accelerator developed and sold by Phase5 and DCE. It plugs into the trapdoor slot of the A1200. The Blizzard PPC is the most powerful accelerator for an Amiga 1200, providing both a 68k processor (a 68040 or a 68060) and a PowerPC 603e processor. The idea is that the 603e can be used to run software which supports it, much faster than any 68k processor can, with the 68k providing compatibility with existing 68k Amiga software.
