textBEAST is a clipboard manager application for Windows, developed by ASBware. There are two versions: "textBEAST clipboard+" and "textBEAST clipboard+image+capture". textBEAST clipboard+ is intended for storing text clips to be pasted into documents to be used for writing reports that include boilerplate text, thus achieving a simplified form of document automation. The interface has twenty text boxes per screen, organized heirarchically into pages and libraries, allowing meaningful categorization and access to text snippets that can be pasted into documents or other windows. An automatically updated clipboard component functions while textBEAST is running and keeps the last 20 text items that passed through the Windows clipboard. These items can be transferred to other pages for permanent storage. Though textBEAST clipboard+ does not contain image boxes, it does include screen capture capability and allows viewing of captured images. textBEAST clipboard+image+capture adds image boxes to the textBEAST interface, along with an image viewer. Version 2 also includes a simplified image resizing function for thumbnails and email attachments derived from larger images. This function allows visual resizing of images without the need to specify dimensions, utilizing anti-aliasing to optimize image quality. Similar Software * Klipper
