Texas Sport Bike Association

The Texas Sport Bike Association (TSBA) is a social, non-profit organization composed of members with a common interest in practicing and promoting safe sporting motorcycle riding. The organization has an AMA charter (#2247).
The TSBA's primary activities are focused on social events, group rides, motorcycle skills development and technology exchange as it relates to sporting motorcycles.
Organizational structure
Though a statewide TSBA organization exists to loosely couple the individual chapters, each local chapter largely operates day-to-day as an individual group with its own unique personality and membership. As of 2008, local chapters exist in Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, and the Rio Grande Valley.
Each chapter is represented by locally elected officers to include President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Ride Coordinator.
Membership
Membership in the TSBA is generally open to anyone who demonstrates reasonable competency in sporting motorcycle operation, and is willing to comply with club rules for required safety equipment and practices on rides. Members also consistently display a desire to improve their motorcycle operating abilities, and mentorship within the club is common. The members of TSBA include skill levels from experienced, winning racers to relative newcomers to the sport of street motorcycling.
Awards and recognition
The TSBA was recognized by RIDE TEXAS Magazine's Readers' Choice Awards as the highest ranking sportbike club in Texas for years 2002, 2003, and 2007.
