Other product segments of Tesat are channel amplifiers, filters, multiplexers, modulators, transmitters and TTC transponder.
Laser Communication Terminal
Since 1997 Tesat develops and supplies devices for wideband optical communications in space, known as Laser Communication Terminal (LCT). These devices allow point-to-point data links with high data volume. With a range of 45,000 km and speeds of more than 5 gigabits per second is communication via laser 10 times faster than before with radio waves. This turns Tesat into the international technology leader in laser communication.
Parts Agency
Since 1972, the company has a parts agency, which organizes an annual rate of 500,000 parts orders for internal and external customers. Here are 65 customers in over 20 countries, supplying or assisted in their procurement.
