Terran Alliance

The Terran Alliance is a fictional governing organization in the Battle Opera Gunmech universe. Battle Opera Gunmech (also called "Gunmech") is a science fiction universe currently in production under Magnetic Entertainment for comic books, video games and a feature film. In the series, a gunmech is a giant bi-pedal combat robot flown by pilots of the Terran Alliance Defense-Force. After seven years of debate and planning, the Terran Alliance was formed in 2068 to address the need for member governments, commercial entities and religions to unify resources as humanity expanded into the Solar System (SOLSYS) en masse. In 2069, the Terran Alliance Defense-Force (TAD-F) was formed to be the military arm of the Alliance. In the early 2100s, the TAD-F began deploying gunmechs manufactured by Mechstar Dynamics and others to defend TA interests. |
