Tequila Poker is a casino poker game that combines elements of Blackjack and traditional poker. It combines luck with intuition and knowledge of card probabilities.
HOW TO PLAY
In Tequila Poker you do not play against the dealer ,only your cards matter.
1) An ante is placed and players are dealt 4 cards each.
2) After looking at their cards, each player may either choose ONLY ONE of the two games; HIGH TEQUILA, POKER TEQUILA POKER, or fold.
3) The players who chose to play must match the ANTE with the BET and will get two more cards each, giving them a total of 6 cards; the players who fold, will lose their ANTE.
4) The players will win if:
A) HIGH TEQUILA: player´s highest 5 cards add to a minimum of 46 (Face cards 10, A11)
B) TEQUILA POKER: player has a minimum of pair of Aces playing with the best 5 card hand.
PAYOUTS
Players who win will get paid on their bets according to the following payouts (and 1:1 on the ante):
Royal Flush 200:1 Straight Flush 50:1 4 of a kind 15:1 Full House 8:1 Flush 7:1 Straight 5:1 3 of a kind 3:1 2 pair 2:1 Pair of Aces 1:1
BASIC STRATEGY
When is it mathematically adviceable to play HIGH TEQUILA?... A player should play HIGH TEQUILA when 3 of the first 4 cards add to a minimum of 28.
When is it mathematically adviceable to play TEQUILA POKER?... A player should play TEQUILA POKER with any of the following scenarios: 1) Player has any pair 2) Player needs only one more card to complete a flush 3) Player needs only one more card to complete a straight (even an inside straight)
NOTE: When player has a hand in which it is mathematically adviceable to play both HIGH TEQUILA and TEQUILA POKER one must take a decision based on risk and intuition
