Teoman Cimit

Teoman Cimit (b. 1968, Istanbul) photographer and profesional tourist guide.
Teoman Cimit is the son of the prominent ceramic artist Ünal Cimit. He was graduated from the Bosphorus University Tourism Administration Programme. In 1989 he was admitted to the 20th Tourist Guide Course organized by The Ministery Of Culture and Tourism of Turkey and became a tour guide in English and Japanese. Cimit speaks German and Italian as well.
During his career he had the honour to guide Dr. Henry Kissinger, King Abdullah II of Jordan and many other world leaders and famous personalities. His interest to photography started during his university years and culminated after he joined 40 Haramiler Photograpy Group. His interviews and articles have been published in magazines and newspapers. His photographs have been selected by major internet sites like 1x, fotokritik, memlekent, fotoiz. Together with the photographers Muammer Yanmaz and Fikret Atalay, Teoman Cimit is carrying out the 40 Colors photography project. Cimit is also a participant of the Yüz Kumbarası photography project.
