Ten Practical Points

The Ten Pracital Points are a summary of the life-saving directions given in chapter five of Alcoholics Anonymous' , as boiled down and applied by All Addicts Anonymous. The Ten Points include wisdom of the most practical kind, much of it not found in statements of the Alcoholics Anonymous program outside of chapter five. We commit ourselves to work toward spiritual awakening by sincerely and responsibly trying to do what the A.A. Big Book suggests:
#1) by completely giving ouselves to this simple Program;
#2) by practicing rigorous honesty;
#3) by being willing to go to any lengths to recover;
#4) by being fearless and thorough in our practice of the All Addicts Anonymous principles;
#5) by realizing that there is no easier, softer way;
#6) by letting go of our old ideas absoultely;
#7) by recognizing that half measures will not work;
#8) by asking God's protection and care with complete abandon;
#9) by being willing to grow along spiritual lines;
#10) by accepting the following pertinent ideas as proved by All Addicts Anonymous experience: (a) that we cannot manage our own lives; (b) that probably no human power can restore us to sanity; (c) that God can and will if sought.
