Teja is a jatt clan of Punjab.Many villages throughout Punjab have people with their sir name as TEJA. These people belong to JATT community and are hardcore SIKHS. They are very social, sentimental, and brave. many of them relate themselves with RAJPUT tribes of rejasthan.Tejas are also found in south india. it is possible than both of these clans (north indian jatt Sikhs and south indian dravids) might have a common ancestor. A lot is yet to be researched.one is is clear that they are not Aryans. either they are huns like other jatt Sikh clans of Punjab or dravids likh other dravid clans of south india.
