Teddy James (born 2nd July) is a contemporary fashion designer. James grew up in Oxford attending Magdalen College School, Oxford. He did not go to a design school but showed flare for fashion design early. At 14, he benefitted from the backing of fashion designer Zac Posen who personally educated him due him being a family friend. James also benefits from commerce from many notable Hollywood celebrities including Tom Cruise's wife Katie Holmes, Oprah Winfrey, Nicole Kidman and is a particular favourite of the Olsen twins. Personal life James, whose business name is an alias for his real name, Stefan Roberts, is the son of policemen Andrew and Sharon. He accounts for his abilty because of the pictoresque and unique nature of the City of Oxford. James is openly gay and has been linked to New York fashion designer Zac Posen following Posen's break-up with interior designer Brian Callahan. |
