Teddy Harris

Teddy Harris is a city council member of the City of Rossville, Georgia.
During his first term he backed a major tax roll back,
and a Streetscape Project which improved the appearance of downtown Rossville. He also supported a tough Adult Entertainment ordinance that passed.

Harris is regarded as a predominate Walker County Republican.

He is a respect businessman having owned and operated H & H Furniture for over twenty years in the Fairview Community of Rossville.

He was first elected to the city council in 2004 and is currently serving his second term.


Harris has lived in Rossville for over 40 years. He and his wife, Karen, have one child. They currently reside in the LeBron Heights subdivision of the city.

In 1998, Harris founded an internet community for Rossville High School Alumni, RHSA online. The community has over a thousand members.

Harris became an outspoken critic of school consolidation when Walker County closed Rossville High School and combined it with Chattanooga Valley High School.


He is the editor and publisher of the Bulldog Newsletter an online publication for the Rossville Community. The publication has over 1200 subscribers.

In 2004, he started Beechwood Enterprises a small Internet web design and advertising firm.

Harris began publishing The Peerless Review a News Portal for Northwest Georgia in 2006.

He was appointed Mayor Pro-Tem of the City of Rossville Georgia in 2008.
Also in 2008 he became a board member of the Rossville Downtown Development Authority.
