Ted Eckersdorff

Ted Eckersdorff (born c. 1955) is an American pentathlon athlete.
Eckersdorff's main period of competition was the late 1970s and early 1980s. He competed in the modern pentathlon event at the 1981 National Sports Festival. currently teaches fencing at the Branson School in Ross, California. Eckersdorff is an artist and has his own fencing club named The Marin Pentathlon Club. His inspiration for the paintings comes from scenes in Mill Valley. He was born in New York. He moved to Texas to train full-time at the Modern Pentathlon training center, for 10 years. He competed in many international competitions, and the World Championships, then moved to Mill Valley, California, where he currently lives.
