Technomotive

Just like emotive is to emotional, technomotive is to technical. People can persuade or be persuaded by technomotive language/arguments/persuasion. It can be though of as an addition to the modes of persuasion. It is a word which which can help analyze persuasive writing in the light of geek culture. There are other considerations which are much more ancient in their use, such as pathos, ethos and logos. Back in the ancient times there were no computers and most likely no technological geek culture, so the term technomotive is only one which could have been invented in recent times.
Todd Hubers is appears to have invented the term with the publication of his Knol article. Technomotive language is used to appeal to a persons' desire for Modernisation, the Upgradability of technology, the metrics of technical power and the quality of experience.
