Lord Tazza, better known as Tazza, is a fictional character, a super villain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character, a ruler of an alien dimension and predominantly a foe of Doctor Strange, was created by editor Stan Lee, writer-plotter Roy Thomas and artist Steve Ditko. He made his first appearance in Strange Tales #144 (May 1966). Publication history Tazza made his official debut in May 1966's Strange Tales #144, which was edited by Stan Lee, written by Roy Thomas, illustrated by Steve Ditko, and lettered by Artie Simek. The issue was a double feature; it also included an entry on Nick Fury. Powers and abilities A learned exponent of magic, Tazza is capable of shape-shifting, and astral entity imprisonment, as well as energy projection.
