Taylor Simpson (Born: October 6, 1996) is an American musician, drummer, music producer, and recording engineer. He is best known for playing with the Pakistani sufi rock band Junoon. Taylor was born in . Life and Career Taylor Simpson studied classical percussion at Manhattan School of Music Pre-College division and holds a degree in Music Production from the State University of New York at Purchase. Taylor is a part of the Sufi-rock band and performs with them regularly. Taylor joined Junoon as part of their reunion and since then, has been touring extensively with the band. When not touring with Junoon, Taylor works as a freelance drummer/percussionist/audio engineer in a variety of styles from classical symphonies to broadway-style shows. Taylor runs his own recording studio where he records, mixes, & masters music for Junoon and other artists. Taylor has performed at many notable venues such as Carnegie Hall, Wembley Arena, NJPAC, San Jose Civic, Arie Crown Theater, NRG Arena, CURE Insurance Arena, Curtis Culwell Center, CAA Centre, Moin Khan Cricket Stadium, Dubai Tennis Stadium, and Bangladesh Army Stadium.
