Taye Olusola

Taye Damilola Olusola is a Nigerian music producer, pianist, songwriter, Recording artiste, journalist and one half of Twins Affair from Nigeria. He is best known for producing and writing Twins Affair’s songs as such Asa, Go There, Don’t Know, O bad gaan, TECHZONTO and Melody.
Early life
Taye was born at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, Ilorin to Olusola Ogungbemi, a retired civil servant and Durodola
Ogungbemi, an educationalist and businesswoman. Taye Olusola is the older twin by five minutes. Taye was born at 2:00pm, followed by Kehinde at 2:05pm. He attended Family Support Primary School, Kabba, Kogi State from 1993-1998; St.Barnabas Secondary School Kabba, Kogi State from 1998-2004; Delta State University, Abraka, Nigeria from 2005-2010 (B.A Hons Music); International Institute of Journalism, Abuja Nigeria, from 2013-2014 (Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism). In the area of music education, Taye taught at the prestigious PEFTI Film Institute Lagos, Nigeria owned by the doyen of Nigerian entertainment industry, Wale Adenuga Production (Super Story) from 2012 until 2013 where he resigned his appointment as Music Lecturer/Studio Music producer lecturer to enable him proceed to International Institute of Journalism, Abuja for a one year Post -Graduate Diploma in Journalism.
Musical career
At the age of four, Taye was taught how to play piano, bass guitar, guitar, drum set and saxophone by his father. At the age of 9, he was the resident pianist of Living Faith Church, Kabba, Kogi State, Nigeria. Due to his love for music, Taye went on to acquire a Bachelor of Degree in Music. After graduation he did a 3 months Music production course at Life Line Studio, Allen Avenue, Lagos under the tutelage of an ace music Producer, T.Y Snoop who is one of the producers of Mr. Olu Maintain. In an interview with National mirror, Taye named Timbaland, Dr Dre , Scott Storch and Quincy Jones as his musical influence.
Taye began his professional music in 1999, when he and his twin brother formed a musical group called Twins Affair. His music career kicked off when he produced the song Asa by Twins Affair. Taye's other notable music production include Give You More featuring Howmon by Slay, 365 Days by Twins Affair, Melody, Go There, O bad gan by Twins Affair, and many others.
