Taxi Around the Art is a magazine that focuses on contemporary art. Through a set of articles, notes and news reports whose plan, design and language approaches a public who wants to be informed about art tendencies stated by artists, galleries and museums around the world. The magazine presents all genres of art, supported by collaborators around the world, but primarily supports mexican and latin american artists. Each issue has a main theme that is represented in its main section "Around the Art". Past issues have talked about Sculpture, Painting, and Installation. History The magazine was founded in Guadalajara, Mexico in 2010. Brief time after the first number came out, it began to catch the eye of people around the country, ultimately landing the magazine a deal to distribute it nationwide. After the second issue was distributed in Mexico, the magazine begun to sell in the United States nationwide starting with its third number.
