Taser Hassan (born June 22, 1991 in Kent, England) is an English footballer currently playing for Football League One side Huddersfield Town he plays as winger. Taser is of Turkish Cypriot descent and has signed for Huddersfield on 18 February 2010, for the remainder of the 2009-10 season. He is the son of the movie star Tamer Hassan. Youth Career He is a product of the Nike Academy, which is associated to the Premier League, he was also a part of the youth set up at Cray Wanderers before joining Portsmouth and then Gillingham. Taser also spent six months with Brazilian club, Atlético Paranaense. Playing Career Following his release from Portsmouth, he has recently played for the first teams of Kent League side AFC Fisher and Harlow Town of the Isthmian League Division One North. On February 18, 2010, he signed a short term deal with Huddersfield Town with the aim of signing a longer term deal after impressing the coaching during a trial with the club. During his trial, he played three times for the reserves, scoring once and he also played for the academy on one occasion.
