was Strawberry Flower's third single. It was the debut single to the Purple and White Pikmin. It followed 2001's Ai No Uta as a Pikmin theme song. This is also the first Strawberry Flower single with more than three tracks on it. The single also contained a Laugh remix of Ai No Uta. The last single was 2002's Pikmin Dance. "Tane no Uta" was used in the commercials for Pikmin 2.
The b-side song, was the game's opening theme song, and was upbeat.
