The Tamara Bane Gallery opened its doors in the early 1980s to host exhibitions for established and upcoming Artists, known for its cutting edge exhibitions and its ownership interests in 5 longstanding websites that have been all deleted and or transferred abroad as of January 2009. The Tamara Bane Gallery decade old website www.tamarabanegallery.com was linked to more than three other longstanding websites including www.taboogallery.com www.rbeditions.com www.worldofpinup.com that had numerous order pages which have been not filed ongoing during the bankruptcy process and mentioned on record while much of the very same arts depicted on aforementioned websites show up on history of other websites / servers including eBay and mac.com servers.
Tamara Bane was involved in exhibitions with Artist Mel Ramos, Ronnie Cutrone, Robert Williams, Todd Shoor, a defrauded Japanese artist whose federal case is detailed herein, other artists not mentioned and Olivia.
On about November 14, 2009 and Dec 08, 2009 there were POV / erasure of history of this vital html wiki record and some re-write of this html page of history. It is being restored regularly to reflect the facts of the art fraud case that is established on records federal courts of United States, PACER, reported in the LA Times, Los Angeles Business Journal and Dunn & Bradstreet online versions for reporting of facts from various independent sources.
Tamara Bane Gallery art fraud case is regarding ownership interests of Robert S. Bane and Tamara Feuer - Bane includes a third party action by Fabian Perez interests that concluded in current year 2009 court ordered sales of arts seized in/about April 2006 at storage venues of the Tamara Bane Gallery. Artist Hajime Sorayama represented by members of the firm of Attorney Paul Laurin won a $2.3 million judgment awarding damages against his publisher Robert Bane Ltd. and Robert Bane personally due to Bane's failure to properly account for the proceeds from sales of 33 original paintings. Of the 33 painting, 24 originals are being sought by Artist Sorayama and his New York representatives who are now coordinating a reward exchange system for those turning any of the 24 embezzled and stolen pieces or forged Sorayama arts of which samples are available to police authorities worldwide. The owners of Tamara Bane Gallery, whose fiduciary possession of the 33 Sorayama originals, makes them an ideal candidate to be helpful in providing information needed in finding such pieces as well and have been invited to do so with this notification. A third party claim by Fabian Perez was denied by the courts and the US marshal made a seizure of arts at two of the Tamara Bane Gallery related venues including substitute invoices, CoAs (certificates of authenticity) and arts including those of artist Fabian Perez whose arts are now being sold by court order in a liquidation by the defrauded creditor, artist Hajime Sorayama. Notable is that some liquidation art pieces also appear on eBay without being removed nor edited nor banned because the information herein is reliable fact that are current of courts' rulings from 2005 until at least end of Dec 2009 (if change occurs it will be reported.)
During the ongoing over 24 month old Chapter 7 bankruptcy, including Tamara Bane Gallery and its owners, it was ruled that there was/is embezzling in context of conversions. The sought after discharge of debt and new start was denied for good cause on court records. The court also found that Robert S. Bane and Tamara Feuer-Bane interests were dumping cut rate Sorayama limited editions through Ebay. The United States District Court in Los Angeles found that Bane perpetrated a continuing fraud against the well known artist whose works are part of the permanent collections of the Smithsonian and Museum of Modern Art in New York. Artist Sorayama also won the highest design honor that may be conferred by Japan. The court award included punitive damages against Robert S. Bane personally of $1 million and a permanent injunction against further dumping. From the late 1990s until at least March 2008, the well known websites of the ownership interests of Robert S. Bane and Tamara Feuer - Bane are www.tamarabanegallery.com www.taboogallery.com www.rbeditions.com www.worldofpinup.com . During about May 2007, and perhaps as early as late 2005, the websites started a series of transitions including new websites' names, including transfers abroad to Portugal of the longstanding websites and to mac.com servers.
