Takumi Ake

Takumi Ake (born 16 April 1984), nicknamed Tako, is a Japanese semi-professional association football player who plays as a winger for Conference North team Chelmsford City. Career Ake started his career at Ryman League side Hendon before transferring to Team Bath in 2008 in conjunction with his university studies. He then moved to Newport County. A freak accident meant that Ake missed much of the season, but he returned for Newport's closing games. Ake moved to Chelmsford City for the 2010-11 season. Charity work Following the 2011 Sendai earthquake and tsunami, Ake started an appeal for donations to the Red Cross in aid of the victims of the disaster in conjunction with Chelmsford City. The fund was named the "Tako Fund". |
