Sydney James Harcourt is an American actor and singer. He originated the role of James Reynolds in the 2015 musical Hamilton. He also originated the role of Carlos in the Off-Broadway musical Piece of My Heart: The Bert Berns Story. Hamilton Harcourt originated the role of James Reynolds in Hamilton, first in the Off-Broadway and then the Broadway version. On Hamilton he was also one of the original understudies for the roles of Aaron Burr and George Washington, and alternated the role of Burr with fellow understudy Austin Smith in the six-week duration between Leslie Odom Jr.'s departure on July 9 and Brandon Victor Dixon's first performance as Odom's replacement. |
