Swimage encore

Swimage Encore is a software management tool that allows desktop support and helpdesk support personnel to rapidly deploy/re-deploy Windows based personal computers. Central management of PCs is a strategy to increase PC reliability without having to virtualize desktops. Swimage Encore allows support personnel to upgrade a PC to a new operating system or re-image a computer as part of their standard troubleshooting process. Swimage Encore was developed by Intrinsc Technologies, LLC in the early 90s. Intrinsic Technologies, based in Lisle Illinois, was the first comppany to pioneer zero touch deployments using driver independent images. Driver independent images are now part of industry standard best practices for image management.
Swimage Encore extends the functionality of common Enterprise Software Distribution (ESD) systems commonly used today (like Microsoft SCCM, Altiris). Swimage Encore uses the ESD for all of the heavy lifting and adds a management layer on top of the ESD to orchestrate enterprise wide PC deployments. Swimage Encore's Orchestration tool allows administrators to direct completely automated deployments in as little as six mouse clicks.
