Swarnala Cheruvu Nellore

Swarnala Cheruvu is known as Pond of gold to the Nellore. This is the main lake for the Nellore. It is the historical and water storage for the town. History
Barashahid Dargah stands as a powerful symbol of communal harmony on the banks of the beautiful Swarnala Cheruvu (Golden Water Tank) in Nellore. It attracts devotees from various religious backgrounds, especially during the holy month of Muharram.
The Dargah commemorates twelve warriors who became martyrs while fighting against the British forces. In their honor, a stunning structure was built in this coastal city, also known as Simhapuri, celebrating their bravery and sacrifice.
