Susan Stone Woodard

Susan Stone Woodard is the Program Director and host of the radio program, "The Morning Cruise With Suz" heard on non-profit Christian Family Radio (CFR). Originating on WCVK-FM in Bowling Green, Kentucky, CFR broadcasts also as WZVK-FM in Glasgow, Kentucky, and WJVK-FM in Owensboro, Kentucky. The station streams live on www.christianfamilyradio.com.
A graduate of both The Kinkaid School and Rice University in Houston, Texas, Susan completed her Master's work in Radio-TV-Film at the University of Texas at Austin. She began her radio career in Hobbs, New Mexico, in 1985 ("Susan West, The Wild, Wild West" on KYKK-AM/KZOR-FM) and met her husband (Rex Woodard) there in 1988. They married in 1989 and moved to Kentucky the following year.
In addition to involvement in church and community organizations, Susan is an avid fan of the NFL, in particular the Tennessee Titans. She has served as a volunteer in area schools as an instructor for Junior Achievement, and on the board of directors for programs such as the Foster Grandparent Program and the Save Our Kids Coalition.
