Superfly lifestyle

Superfly Lifestyle was a dress and attitude in the 1970s adopted by inner city blacks. they all wore long maxi coats and wide brim superfly hats. the hats were 3 or 4 inch brim with a black/gold geometric style band that fastened with a small belt. also worn were "big willie brims" which were the cousin to the superfly hat. they were an aussie hat big with big crown and big wide brim and they had a traditonal band but what made them really stand out was the feather which was curly and turned to give them that real gangster/pimp look. footnote/ rooster on the TV show baretta wore one. this is good information and should be used for educational purposes in culture and society.
