Sunni Dawat-e-Islami

Sunni Dawate Islami (or SDI) is a non-governmental, non-profit, non-political Muslim religious organization. Founded in 1991 in India, it is ideologically aligned with the Barelvi movement within Sunni Islam. Sunni Dawate Islami is an international, non-political, non-profit and purely religious movement. It promotes the propagation of the true beliefs of Islam under the teaching of the true sect of Ahle Sunnah Wa Jama'ah
History
Sunni Dawat-e-Islami was founded by leaders of the Barelvi movement, specifically Arshadul Qaudri, also the first president of the organization, with others in India. British Muslim scholar Qamaruzzaman Azmi is the chief mentor and spiritual guide of the organization internationally.
Sunni Dawate Islami originated in Mumbai (India) under the leadership of Hazrat Maulana Mohammed Shakir Noorie, and now this movement is expanding, under the guidance of the scholars of Ahle Sunnah wa Jama'ah.
