Fugoso Memorial High School popularly known as "Boystown" as a transferee where he took up a Journalism specialization on his third and fourth year while contributing some articles on their school paper, "Ang Sandigan", and being the editorial cartoonist at the same time. He was awarded as their school's "Cartoonist of the Year" during his fourth year on the recognition day. He went to college at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines in Sta. Mesa, Manila, where he finished with a degree of Bachelor in Broadcast Communication. He have also undergone some short courses in 2D Animation, Bartending, Call Center Training and Web Development.
Pseudonym
Many readers have always mistaken his nationality as a Japanese because his pseudonym sounds like it came from Japan. But actually, he is purely a proud Filipino.
He came up of the name "Sukito San" in the market where he bought food and tried to ask for a discount from the vendor. The vendor responded and called her helper to give him a discount because he is a frequent buyer while shouting "suki 'to", a Tagalog word which means a "regular customer". While the confused vendor's helper responded with "sa'n" which means "where" in English, as the helper searches for him among the buyers. He(Sukito) combined the two words and it became "sukito san".
As A Blogger
Sukito always name his blogs with his name on it. His first blog started out on "Friendster Blog" under the name "Sukito's Big Pen". This blog was really meant as his personal online journal of his life and experiences, an outlet per se. Time comes when "Friendster" decided to change their format which resulted to the deletion of his blog. His passion for writing encouraged him to find another domain which can host his blog and that lead him to "Blogger (the website)", where he hosted his personal blog under the name of "Sukitoscope", where he shares some of his life's lessons, experiences, and reflections.
But because he is a "foodtripper" and he wanted to promote the Filipino culture to the world by means of food which were originated or commonly found in the Philippines, he started to put up a food blog with the name "sukitoSPOON" under "Wordpress".
From then on... two other blogs of Sukito San were born, namely, "Sukitography" for his photo hobby entries, and "Sukitoetry" for his poems written in English and Tagalog. His first online written poem was "Escape From My Burden" which is a reflection of the life that he have been through and one of his best poetry.
He also contributed articles in "Definitely Filipino" blog such as "Ang Apat Kong Asawa" and "The Father, The Son, and The Eye Gear".
Some of his blogs were currently members of "Blogs ng Pinoy", "Weblogs", and "myTaste" to name a few.
Personal life
"A simple guy who loves life at its best!" is his common description of himself. He is a quiet person and always wanted to preserve his slight anonymity in public which made him to have his pictures posted online always in half-face. This is also one of the reason why he used an online alias which is "Sukito San".
On the other side of the story, he do drawings, sketches, and paintings as a hobby. He also didn't pursue his dream of becoming a priest someday... yet, he has this "impossible dream" of becoming the "patron saint of emotional burdens".
