Sudip Bose

Sudip Bose (born February 22, 1974) is an attending emergency medicine physician and combat veteran. He served as a physician for the First Cavalry Division on the front lines in Iraq for nearly 15 months.
Bose treated Saddam Hussein shortly after his capture in December 2003.
Career
Bose is an attending emergency physician and serves as Medical Director for the city of Odessa, Texas. In 2008 he received a National Faculty Teaching Award by the American College of Emergency Physicians.
Iraq War
During the Iraq War, Bose, as a US Army major, cared for wounded soldiers and Iraqi civilians. He provided front line emergency care during the peak of insurgencies in Baghdad and Najaf, and treated Saddam Hussein shortly after his capture. He was one of the only front line physicians in the Second Battle of Fallujah during the U.S. seizure of the city.
Veteran
After his deployment, he founded The Battle Continues, a nonprofit 501c3 charity that works to improve the health of veterans-and all Americans through education. He also founded several online medical training/education companies.
