Submachine gun facts

FN P90
A new submachine gun from Belgian manufacturer FN Herstal, the P90 has very low recoil for an SMG. Also, the top mounted magazine allows the weapon to hold 50 rounds instead of 20 or 32 round magazines commonly used by the Uzi family and the MAC-10

UMP45
Made by Heckler & Koch, the UMP is the replacement for the MP5. By using the .45cal ACP (Automatic Colt Pistol) round, the UMP45 has more punching power than most submachine guns (including the MP5). The UMP45 is fed by a 25 round box magazine.

MAC-10
Produced by Military Armament Corporation (hence MAC) the MAC-10 has a 32-round magazine. The MAC-10 is capable of emptying its magazine in 1.5 seconds of sustained fire.

TDI Vector “Kriss”
Produced by Transformational Defense Industries (TDI), the Kriss “Super V” submachine gun uses the .45cal ACP round. The Kriss is fed by a 30-round box magazine with an optional 17-round extension.
